Privacy Policy

We collect personal data you provide when creating an account, posting on the forum, or contacting support. This includes email, display name, and contact details. We also automatically collect device identifiers, IP addresses, cookies, browser type, and search queries for security and service operation, plus Relo chat session data as needed to provide the helper.

Information is collected when you enter it (registration via Google/Facebook/Telegram, threads and messages, Relo chat). We also collect data automatically via cookies and security tokens (such as Cloudflare Turnstile), and technical logs for security.

We use data to operate and improve Relocator: the forum and cabinet, Relo helper, moderation and abuse prevention, localization, notifications (email/Telegram where available), and analytics/marketing only after cookie consent.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run our services:

• Resend — transactional email notifications
• Cloudflare — CAPTCHA, security and CDN (including Turnstile)
• Google — OAuth sign-in
• Facebook — OAuth sign-in
• Telegram — authentication and Mini App

Data may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect our rights.

We retain account data and published forum content while the account is active or as needed to provide the service.

Cookie-consent records (including hashed IP, browser type, and choices) are kept for 3 years for GDPR Art. 7(1) accountability.

After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, unless law requires longer retention.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data («right to be forgotten»).
• Right to restriction (Art. 18) — request temporary restriction of data processing.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dpo@relocator.forum or via the support email. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR Article 12(3). If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, language preferences, and analytics. Cookies are classified into three categories:

• Essential — required for site functionality (authentication tokens, CSRF protection, language settings). Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site. Collected in aggregate. Require your explicit consent.
• Marketing — used for advertising and social media integration. Require your explicit consent.

No analytics or marketing cookies are loaded until you provide explicit consent, in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and GDPR Article 7.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including data encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest, and access controls to protect your personal data from unauthorized access or alteration.

Our services are not intended for or targeted at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under this age threshold.

The Relocator service operator (relocator.forum) is the controller under GDPR Art. 4(7).

In accordance with GDPR Article 7(1) ('the controller shall be able to demonstrate that the data subject has consented') and the EDPB Guidelines 05/2020 on consent, we maintain detailed records of every consent action:

• Date and time of consent
• Type of consent given (essential, analytics, marketing)
• Hashed IP address and browser type at the time of consent
• Full change history (granted → modified → withdrawn)

Consent records are stored for 3 years and are available for inspection by supervisory authorities upon request. When you create an account, any cookie preferences previously set as an anonymous visitor are automatically linked to your account profile.
